One-to-one support

A calm place to begin

Individual support is available now in person in South Warwickshire by arrangement, and virtually.

Some next steps are easier to find when you can talk them through with someone beside you. Her Rise On offers individual support for women who want to recognise their strengths, rebuild confidence and explore what could come next, in person or virtually.

You do not need a business idea. You do not need to have the right words. You never need to share more than feels right. We begin with what matters to you, at a pace you choose.

We offer warm, confidential support where appropriate and safe. The sessions are reflective and practical, not clinical, diagnostic or therapy.

Women who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse can work individually with trauma informed mentors and business coaches to explore building an online business. Work does not solve everything. Financial independence can open possibilities for safety, choice and a future shaped by you. Where helpful, we can connect or signpost you to suitable external therapeutic and wellbeing support; we do not provide therapy.

Virtual support is a way to have an individual conversation. It does not open an online account or give access to future groups or courses.

Wider supported groups and courses, including course related mentor conversations, are still in development. Applications and referrals for those future offers are not open.

We start with what is already in you

  1. Meet and make space

Start by making contact with only what feels safe to share. A first conversation is a chance to ask questions, discuss whether meeting locally or virtually could suit you, and decide together whether this support fits. You do not have to tell your story or commit to a next step.

  2. Notice your skills and strengths

Together, we work through a supported, practical strengths and confidence module to help you see the abilities, experience and knowledge you already use, and the options you might want to explore.

  3. Explore possible directions

A next step might be learning a new skill, developing digital confidence, trying a small business idea, becoming self-employed, or simply taking time to decide. Learning, upskilling or a new job can be options to discuss, with signposting to other services where appropriate.

  4. Build a workable next step

If you choose to explore an online service or business, we offer practical support to build its first foundations, with care around privacy and visibility. We can help you think about how it could stay portable and be adapted if you resettle or your circumstances change.

  5. Connect with the right help

We signpost to other services and specialist advice when they are better placed to help. We are not an emergency service, therapy, legal, benefits, debt or financial-advice service.

What this support can offer

Her Rise On is not a recruitment or job-placement service. Sometimes, recognising your skills or building confidence can make training, work or a future job feel more possible. If another local service is better placed to help, we will say so and point you towards it.

We do not promise a business, income, employment, financial independence, recovery or safety outcome. We do not provide counselling, therapy, legal, benefits, housing, safeguarding or employment placement services. Where appropriate, we signpost to external specialist services.
